Disconnect Switches |
Euclid Manual-Magnetic Disconnect Switch Type 4245
 |
The Manual-Magnetic Disconnect Switches are combination manually and magnetically operated contactors enclosed in a NEMA Type wall-mounted enclosure.
The contactors for the disconnect switches are the same as the contactors used on Euclid's crane and mill type magnetic controllers. Silver
faced contacts are standard.
All external connections to the contactor panel are made on the front of the panel. the incoming line terminals are located at the top and
the load terminals are located at the bottom of the contactor mounting panel. Control circuit wiring connections are made on the side of the
panel.
Auxiliary contacts give a choice of two different indicating light circuits.
NEMA Type 1 enclosures are standard. Gasketed and type 3R (weather resistant) enclosures are also available. DC type switches range from
100 to 2700 amperes, 8 hour open rating. AC types range from 100 to 1350 amperes, 8 hour open rating.

Lifting Magnet Disconnect Switch Type 4310
 |
The 4310 fused magnet safety disconnect switch is designed to safely allow the operator of a lifting magnet to disconnect the highly
inductive magnet while the magnet is still energized. Standard safety switches are not designed to safely disconnect an energized magnet.
The 4310 has (3) power poles. Two normally open power poles to disconnect the incoming power and a third normally closed power pole that
shunts the magnets energy into a discharge resistor when the disconnect is switched to the off position.
